Retired Associate Dean of Media And Entertainment at Mohawk College.
He's a busy guy as he is also the Host of BluesSource Canada which is available on Blues Radio U.K., Mixcloud and The Escarpment Blues Society website.
He's also a contributor to The Sound Cafe.
Steve Strongman
Vice president
Juno Award Winner Steve Strongman is excited to be a part of the brand new Escarpment Blues Society and eager to share his vast knowledge & experience in creating unforgettable music events. Steve is also our Artistic Director for the Annual EBS show at Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre.

Luis Pereira has been at the helm of the Hamilton Blues Lovers since 2008. The blog (blueshamilton.blogspot.com) and its social media pages showcase the incredible Hamilton (and beyond) music scene through local news, event listings and much more.
Pam Beatson
Pam has been involved in the music world in many ways, including event planning, artist management, tour management and promotion. She co-founded Stew's Blues, Mama Mojo Music and the Stratford Blues and Ribfest. She has been a member of 5 blues societies and sat on the boards of two of them (Great Lakes and Grand River).
As a longtime blues lover and supporter of live music, Pam is excited to bring her skills and experience to the dream team board at EBS.
Linda Fraser
Linda has been supporting the Hamilton and area music scene and community for over thirty years. As a professional seasoned events and volunteer coordinator, she organized many successful events in the Hamilton Area. In 2017, Linda and Luis won the very first, George R. Robinson Award from the Hamilton Musicians’ Guild (Local 293) for outstanding Support of Live Music.
Kris young
From an early age, Kris has been deeply passionate about music. In grade 11, when the time came to make a pivotal career decision, his guidance counsellor encouraged him to pursue accounting rather than explore a future as a stage musician. Although this path led him away from performing, Kris’s enthusiasm for music has never diminished. After relocating to Hamilton in 2011 he discovered a thriving local music scene. Serving on the EBS board, Kris has finally found the perfect opportunity to blend his professional expertise with his enduring love of music
